The FertiGenève Laboratory is the result of a joint venture with Fertas, a reproductive biology laboratory, with regional labs in Fribourg, Geneva, Lausanne, Neuchâtel, Sion and Vevey.
As well as its preferred partnership with FertiGenève, Fertas works with fertility units in cantonal hospitals in Fribourg (HFR), Geneva (HUG) and Neuchâtel (HNE), among others. It has also developed a broad local network with numerous doctors in French-speaking Switzerland.

Based at Clinique Générale-Beaulieu (chemin de Beau-Soleil 22), the laboratory has a reception area, waiting room, two comfortably equipped rooms where men can produce their sperm sample, a large laboratory for the biologists and technicians, and a room where gynaecologists are able to transfer embryos into the woman’s uterus.

It currently employs three biologists, four technicians and a medical secretary.

The laboratory offers the following services at a doctor’s request.

• Diagnosis of male infertility (andrology) based on a comprehensive range of tests.
• Sperm preparation for intrauterine insemination (using the husband’s or donor sperm).
• In vitro fertilization and associated techniques.
• Fertility preservation (sperm freezing and oocyte vitrification).
